Language development at level C1

This is a course for advanced learners who want to actively refine their speaking, reading, listening, and writing skills through real-world language exploration. It’s designed around authentic texts and meaningful communication. We will explore language through a strong lexical focus, paying attention to collocations, chunks, and natural usage.

Lessons are conversation-driven and guided by Dogme ELT principles and the Lexical Approach. In other words, the language that emerges from texts, discussions, and learners' communicative needs will guide the course.

The course is taught in small groups of 3–6 participants, creating an environment where every learner has the opportunity to contribute actively while benefiting from the ideas, experiences, and language of others.

Who is this course for?

Advanced learners who:

are interested in exploring language through a strong lexical focus, paying attention to collocations, chunks, and natural usage;
are motivated to broaden their repertoire, improve their accuracy, and communicate with greater confidence;
feel comfortable engaging with authentic materials (such as articles, podcasts, and videos) and enjoy thoughtful, discussion-based learning;

Important Information

Group Size: 3–6 participants per group.
Google Classroom: Access requires a Gmail account.
Lessons take place on Zoom.
Session Recordings: Lessons are recorded and available for 7 days.
To make the most of the course, you should be able to dedicate approximately 1 hour per week to homework and independent study.
